This Spring, Cohli invites you to experience a two-month family coliving experience at Kai Art Residency, where you’ll find a place that feels like home and where each family member has the space to connect with others, rejuvenate, and experience how supportive it feels to connect with other families who share the same values.Imagine waking up to the crisp mountain air of the Sacred Valley, the golden morning light spilling over the Andean peaks. Your kids run barefoot through the gardens, chasing butterflies, while you sip a warm cup of tea, settling into the slow rhythm of life in this breathtaking place. Maybe you venture to a nearby market, visit the waterfall or Incan trails that surround the property, participate in a family-friendly workshop, or find a quiet corner to get some work done. On weekends, explore the different ancient towns, ruins, Machu Picchu, and more. For two months, we’re transforming Residencia Kai, a creative retreat and cultural hub, into a co-living experience for families. Each family will have their own private house, while the shared studios, gardens, and open-air gathering spaces become the heart of our community. Over these two months, collaborate on a project together, learn about Incan history, and form deep friendships with other families.

Kai is an arts and research residence located in the community of Arin, Sacred Valley of the Incas; an area known for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage and a unique environment where visitors can be surrounded by inspirational landscapes and without distractions.Kai seeks to promote the image, culture and richness of content of the Sacred Valley and its surroundings, through the experiences here. The space itself is noteworthy. It has paid special attention to the local building techniques, the use of local materials and the reuse of gray and/or black water, as part of its efforts to protect the environment. Kai has involved specialists in architecture, interior design, textile design, photography and sustainable techniques as “Earthship Biotecture”.Read more about Kai, here.
